LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

If you experience a problem with one of your RockyMounts products, please contact the original place of purchase first. The store will be able to assess and often fix the problem quickly for you and get you up and running again. If you need to contact a representative of RockyMounts you can email us on ride@rockymounts.com.au

The limited lifetime warranty covers all RockyMounts Australia Pty Ltd products and components and is effective for as long as the original purchaser owns the product. This warranty is no longer valid once the original purchaser sells or transfers the product to another person.

RockyMounts Australia under Australian consumer law will inspect and provide remedy to defects in materials and or workmanship by repairing or replacing at RockyMounts decisions and expense, the faulty product. RockyMounts may elect not to repair or replace the product, in which case will issue a refund to the original retail purchaser or credit that can be used to purchase new RockyMounts products.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including but not limited to, denting, scratching, fading, tearing, oxidation of surface coatings over extended period of time and motor vehicle accidents. It also does not cover the product if any modifications have been made or if it is used in a commercial environment. Any overloading, incorrect use as per the manufacturers fitting instructions, misuse, theft will not be covered under this warranty.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Steps for completing a Warranty

  • Contact your original place of purchase as soon as practical. Provide the store with evidence that you are the original owner by submitting a copy of the receipt.
  • If you are unable to contact the store or they are unable to remedy yourdefect, you can contact RockyMounts direct at ride@rockymounts.com.au
  • When contacting the store or Rockymounts you should provide as much information as possible to help explain the problem. Photographs will be requested along with information about where you were travelling and the conditions.
  • The cost or expense in making a claim, including the costs of returning the product to the store of purchase or RockyMounts Australia will be borne by you. If the claim is within the limited warranty RockyMounts will repair, replace or refund, free of charge to the purchaser.
