RockyMounts founder Bobby Noyes started back in 1993 when he ventured across from New Jersey to Colorado. Seeing a need in the bicycle industry for better bike racks he began making customized bike racks by hand. He sold these first racks from the back of his truck and instantly became a hit, word spread across the United States and people sought out the brand that they could trust to carry their bikes.
RockyMounts HQ is based in Colorado and until recently grew up in Boulder. This is the home to outdoor enthusiasts, from Bicyclists, Skiers, snowboarders, kayakers, hikers and adventure athletes. The foothills of Colorado has countless trailheads, kilometres of single tracks and the gateway to the Rockies.
RockyMounts has recently moved to the western slopes of the Rockies and is now based in Grand Junction Colorado. Grand Junction is known as hub of Colorados wine country but has amazing Bike trails, lakes, river access and wildlife.
RockyMounts Australia was established in late 2018 by Chris Murty. Having known and worked with Bobby for many years he saw the need to bring this great brand to the shores of Australia and also across to our neighbours in New Zealand.
Chris is an Automotive Engineer with a love for the outdoors. His cycling adventures extend along the great east coast of Australia and into regions of New Zealand, exploring and discovering new tracks.
